The Bestfighter World Cup is on June 1st-3rd. All aspects of kickboxing are covered here including light, semi and full contact, as well as musical forms kick light and team competition in point sparring.
There is always an extremely high level of participants here from all over the world and definitely one you shouldn't miss out on. It's one of the first international competitions I ever attended but alas 3rd place was my greatest achievement there. For anyone with young or inexperienced fighters in your club, this is one well worth considering as it is broken down to weights and grades. Outside of the tournament Rimini is a beautiful resort with a gorgeous beach and it is well worth staying on for a few days R&R after the competition as I always do. BMA Clondalkin Rumble 3
The Rumble is back after it's huge success last year with Robbie McMenamy and Jason Tankson Bourrelly sharing the main event. This year the main event is between two more huge names in point-fighting, Irelands -74kg national champion Mark McDermot takes on Norways most successful ever male point fighter Morten Spissoy in what promises to be a close, hard hitting battle between two of the fastest fighters on the circuit.
Also on the night is Irelands -69kg national champion Jay Daniels taking on one of the UK's rising stars Tom Gould.
